Big pile of parts shipped
out to Cali for show chrome
When cleaning the motor and prepping for the chrome I discovered three broken bolts on the cam towers.
You can tell they've been broken for a while from the completely blackened surface of the break. I also
discovered a damaged bearing in the alternator housing when we had it chroma-coated.

I've built Lou a custom street-fighter CBX. The first thing on my list was
updating the suspension. The original front forks were very undersized
for such a large machine. I installed an '07 M109 Suzuki front
suspension, brakes and front fender that I've made dramatic cut-outs in
to show the Metzler 18" front tire and PM Wheel with 13 1/2" floating
rotors. I polished the front suspension and brakes as well as chroming
the triple trees. I've make him a swing-arm  to hold a 240 tire and
Pro-One 4 piston brake caliper. I also sent all of the engine covers out
to be chrome plated while I detailed the engine and replaced the oil
lines with braided steel. To set off the street fighter stance, Lou brought
me a set of NOS Hondaline engine cages, that I machined a slicker
attachment system for. Stunt Cages ain't new!
Lou decided on this awesome Powerflow exhaust system made
entirely out of polished stainless steel all the way from South Africa that
Ben coated with three coats of Cycle Shak Chrome Guard. Lou sent the
paint out to Crazy Horse to get this sleek glossy black with true fire
flames. He also chose the great looking PM Marshall wheels to accent
the super stock look of his one of a kind CBX.
To carry on the ultra clean stock look I used a Suzuki M109 front
fairing / headlight assembly with the original turn signals front and rear.
The bars are classic K & N drags mounted in Scootworks risers and a
Dakota Digital gauge with a full range of information displayed. This
blended perfectly with the stock fuel tank with the emblems deleted.
After I re-shaped his stock CBX seat, he chose to have it engraved by
RMH Custom Leather.
