This is Eve, 'Naldo's Redneck Mutant Buell.
I'm tearing her down to the bare frame and
starting over to work this frame into something he
will love to ride and be proud to show.
It sits crazy low and has a really aggressive
stance with the radically raked neck. I have
chromed and polished most of the original
mechanicals and am making him new sheet-metal
to provide a sleek design and passenger seating.
I'll also be converting the front end to chopper
style controls and one-off custom exhaust.
These Lazer Star
lights are frenched
into the frame.
Making the hidden
heavy steel struts for
the custom fit rear
fender
The fender's hidden
inner supports are
attached to these
plates with grade 8 3/8"
bolts.
I've re-worked the fuel tank to match the curve
and height I want, next I'll narrow it at the rear.
I've made the new tank mounts and removed
the forward control mounts, with quite a bit of
and welded then ground smooth.
The heavy weld on lug
for the frame.
It's looking right, an awesome, one-off custom chopper exhaust.
I'll relocate the ignition switch and the junction box instead of
compromising the exhaust design. The side stand will now be a
challenge to locate and not stick out or hit the exhaust.
I have to machine down and
re-chrome this bracket to
make it fit between the risers
so I can mount the new
speedo and bracket. Nothing
is EVER easy!
